Les Golden Globes 2024 sacrent Succession et The Bear

Le drama familial et la comédie gastronomique ont dominé leurs catégories respectives. Acharnés (Beef) de Netflix a dominé celle des mini-séries. Tout le palmarès.

On s'attendait à un razzia de Succession, aux Golden Globes 2024. Elle a bien eu lieu. La famille Roy a fait main basse sur les trophées séries de la 81e cérémonie. Pour sa 4e et dernière saison, particulièrement réussie, Succession s'offre 4 prix, dont Meilleur drama, mais surtout trois prix d'interprétation pour Sarah Snook (Meilleure actrice), Kieran Culkin (Meilleur acteur) et Matthew Macfadyen (Meilleur second rôle masculin). Seule J. Smith-Cameron (qui joue Gerri) n'a pas gagné dans sa catégorie, battue par Elizabeth Debecki (pour Meilleur second rôle féminin), l'interprète de Diana dans The Crown. Le grand perdant de la soirée s'appelle The Last of Us. Aucun prix pour la série la plus populaire de 2023. "Prends ça Pedro Pascal !" a même jubilé sur scène Kieran Culkin après lui avoir soufflé le trophée !

De son côté, The Bear a été sacrée Meilleure comédie, tandis que Jeremy Allen White et Ayo Edebiri ont remporté les statuettes de Meilleur acteur et Meilleure actrice. Malgré 5 nominations, Only Murders in the Building repart bredouille. Même Meryl Streep, la reine des prix, a été battue.

Enfin, autre triplé pour Acharnés (Beef), sacrée dans la catégorie des Mini-séries, en même temps que l'actrice Ali Wong et son compère Steven Yeun.
