Le grand final sera donc à voir cet été.
CBS a envoyé Code Black à la morgue. La chaîne américaine a annoncé ces derniers jours qu'elle ne renouvellera pas la série médicale, qui n'aura donc pas de saison 4.
Le showrunner Michael Seitzman a annoncé la nouvelle sur Twitter, via un message remerciant les fans pour leur soutien :
Dear #CodeBlack fans, the sad news came today that we were cancelled. It's been a true joy to make this show and watch your response every week. Thank you for all of your passion. Truly, our best episodes have yet to air. We hope you'll watch and enjoy them. We made them for you.

Diffusée en France sans grans succès non plus, sur M6, Code Black réunissait pourtant un alléchant casting, avec Marcia Gay Harden, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Boris Kodjoe, Luiz Guzman et Rob Lowe.
La saison 3, lancée le 25 avril dernier, sera donc la dernière. Le grand final de Code Black sera diffusé au début de l'été.
